SPANISH FORK, Utah — Two people were killed and another two were seriously injured in a head-on crash on U.S. Highway 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon.
The incident happened at milepost 182 just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials with the Utah Highway Patrol said a Mazda3 passenger car was traveling eastbound on U.S. 6 when it crossed into oncoming traffic for an unknown reason and crashed head-on into an Audi A5 passenger car.
Both the driver and passenger of the Mazda were killed.
The driver and passenger of the Audi were transported by air ambulance in serious, but non life-threatening, condition. Officials said they’re expected to survive.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts, according to UHP.
